This garment and headpiece took inspiration from the Eucalyptus deglupta tree, also known as the Rainbow Eucalyptus tree, or Bagras. This tree, native to the Philippines, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea, is known for its colorful bark that peels away to reveal stripes of green, blue, purple, orange, and maroon over time as reddish brown tannins accumulate in the surface layer, and the chlorophyll below fades, resulting in the tree's vibrant colors.
